The third bit is likely the most intriguing. Seeing this reference make the leap from the pages of the book to Giacchino?s music should no doubt excite the more attentive fans. Again, no shocking revelation here, but Star-Dust is the nickname given to Jyn Erso by her father, Galen, when she was a baby because of flecks of color in her eyes (as revealed in the Rogue One prequel novel, Catalyst). Imperial labor camps have been mentioned before ? specifically the spice mines of Kessel ? but this would be the first time they?d actually appear on the big screen, showing how the Empire affects the lives of dissident citizens who aren?t a part of the Rebellion. The track title itself doesn?t really spoil much about the movie, but it does reveal a bit of worldbuilding that hasn?t been seen in Star Wars before. Without speculating too much about some of the more obvious or mundane titles ? The Rogue One tracklist doesn?t leak anything quite so egregious, but there are a few bits we can glean about the movie from the track list below. Star Wars has a history of leaking major spoilers in its tracklists, with the death of Qui-Gon being exposed by the track titled Qui-Gon?s Noble End on the soundtrack for The Phantom Menace being the most notable example.

Now, with just just over a week to go until the film hits theaters, the full tracklist for Giacchino?s soundtrack has been revealed by the site EMP-Shop, after having posted the soundtrack for pre-order.
The delays from these reshoots led to the film?s original composer, Alexandre Desplat, having to exit the project ? leaving Giacchino with only 4 weeks to score his composition for the movie. Rogue One?s production has been under scrutiny ever since new broke of extensive reshoots over the summer. This time, the musical underpinnings of the galaxy far far away are composed by Oscar-winner Michael Giacchino. It?s the first non-episodic live-action theatrical release the first Star Wars movie not to revolve around Jedi or the Skywalkers and the first Star Wars movie not composed by John Williams. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story marks a lot of firsts for the Star Wars franchise.
